António Pedrosa (Portugal 1997)

António Pedrosa began his organ studies with Rui Soares in Portugal. Later he undertook his bachelor in organ performance in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he studied with Pieter van Dijk and Matthias Havinga. There he completed his bachelor in 2020. In 2022 he obtained his Master in organ performance at the same institution, where he also studied harpsichord with Menno van Delft, and basso continuo with Kris Verhelst. He has also followed improvisation lessons with Miklos Spanyi. At the present time he is following a second Masters, the ?Claviorganum? program, in the Hochsuele fuer Musik und Theater in Hamburg, where he studies with Wolfgang Zerer, Menno van Delft, and Isolde Kittel-Zerer. Besides, he benefited from masterclasses from, among others, Louis Robilliard, Arvid Gast, Leo van Doeselaar, Ton Koopman, Anrés Cea-Galán, Ben van Oosten? He has played with ensembles and groups such as La Sfera Armoniosa, led by Mike Fentross, Orquestra XXI, in Portugal, among others. António gave concerts in the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and France, as soloist and ensemble player. He works as well as liturgical organist in the Obrechtkerk in Amsterdam, and as third organist in the Nicolaas Basilica in Amsterdam. 

António Pedrosa begon zijn orgelstudie bij Rui Soares in Portugal. Later volgde hij zijn bachelor orgelbewerking aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, waar hij studeerde bij Pieter van Dijk en Matthias Havinga. Daar rondde hij in 2020 zijn bachelor af. In 2022 behaalde hij zijn Master in orgeluitvoering aan dezelfde instelling, waar hij ook klavecimbel studeerde bij Menno van Delft en basso continuo bij Kris Verhelst. Ook volgde hij improvisatielessen bij Miklos Spanyi. Momenteel volgt hij een tweede Master, het 'Claviorganum'-programma, in de Hochsuele fuer Musik und Theater in Hamburg, waar hij studeert bij Wolfgang Zerer, Menno van Delft en Isolde Kittel-Zerer. Daarnaast volgde hij masterclasses van onder andere Louis Robilliard, Arvid Gast, Leo van Doeselaar, Ton Koopman, Anrés Cea-Galán, Ben van Oosten... Hij speelde met ensembles en groepen zoals La Sfera Armoniosa, onder leiding van Mike Fentross, Orquestra XXI, in Portugal, onder anderen. António gaf concerten in Nederland, Portugal, Spanje en Frankrijk, als solist en ensemblespeler. Hij werkt als liturgisch organist in de Obrechtkerk in Amsterdam en als derde organist in de Nicolaasbasiliek in Amsterdam.
