Chris Bragg

werd geboren in Stirling (Schotland) en is oud orgelstudent van Dunblane Cathedral. Hij studeerde orgel aan de voormalige Royal Scottish Academy of Music en Drama en aan het Conservatorium van Amsterdam waar hij in 2005 zijn Masterdiploma haalde. Zijn docenten waren Michael Harris, Pieter van Dijk en Pier Damiano Peretti. Daarnaast studeerde hij kerkmuziek aan het Utrechts Conservatorium en clavichord bij Menno van Delft. Hij heeft soloconcerten gegeven in zes Europese landen en in de VS. Chris Bragg is hoofd programmeren aan de Universiteit van St. Andrews Music Centre, artistiek directeur van St Andrews Organ Week, organist van St Salvador Episcopal Church in Dundee en is actief als performer, leraar en vertaler. Hij is ook een schrijver van functies en recensies voor het Rhinegold-tijdschrift, Choir and Organ.

His teachers included Michael Harris, Pieter van Dijk and Pier Damiano Peretti. In addition, he studied church music at the Utrecht Conservatory and clavichord with Menno van Delft. He has performed solo recitals in six European countries and in the USA. Chris Bragg is Head of Programming at the University of St Andrews Music Centre, Artistic Director of St Andrews Organ Week, organist of St Salvador?s Episcopal Church in Dundee and is active as a performer, teacher and translator. He is also a features and reviews writer for the Rhinegold journal, Choir and Organ.
