Heejin Kim (South Korea 1984)

studeert aan de Universiteit de Notre Dame in Parijs bij Craig Cramer. Ze behaalde haar bachelor bij Moon-Kyung Chae aan de Ewha Womans University in Seoul. Haar masters en concertexamen voltooide ze bij Pieter van Dijk en Wolfgang Zerer in Hamburg. ZE heeft internationale masterclasses gevolgd bij onder andere Ewald Kooiman, Christoph Bossert en Harald Vogel. In 2014 won ze de eerste prijs van het Arp Schnitger Concours in Hamburg en Bremen en in 2018 de tweede prijs van het Concorso Organistico Internazionale ´Organi Storici del Basso Friuli´. Ze is organist van de Episcopal Church of St. John in Elkhart, Iniana.

is a doctoral student at the University of Notre Dame (Prof. Craig Cramer). She completed her bachelor´s degree under Moon-Kyung Chae at Ewha Womans University in Seoul. After further studies in Germany, she earned her master´s degree and Konzertexamen under Pieter van Dijk and Wolfgang Zerer in Hamburg. She has participated in international organ masterclasses with Ewald Kooiman, Christoph Bossert end Harald Vogel. She won first prize in the Arp-Schnitger-Orgelwettbewerb in Bremen/Hamburg (2014), and second prize in the Concorso Organistico Internazionale ´Organi Storici del Basso Friuli´ (2018). She serves as organist at the Episcopal Church of St. John in Elkhart, Indiana.
