Stephan Pollhammer (Austria 1998)

started his musical education in 2002 at the Musikum Hallein and graduated with distinction in the subjects recorder, organ and piano. During that time he received multiple prizes at the national music competition ´prima la musica´. Since 2011 he has been working as a church organist in the area around Hallein. He started to study organ in 2015 at the University Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Hannfried Lucke. Additionally he has been studying instrumental pedagogy piano with Christoph Declara since 2016. He completed both of his bachelor's degrees in 2020 and since then has continued his studies in the master's program. He attended master classes with Martin Schmeding, Jaroslav T?ma and Matthias Maierhofer, among others. In 2017 he was awarded the sponsorship prize of the International Summer Academy of the Mozarteum University. In international organ competitions he received the 1st prize and the audience prize at the International Maria Hofer Competition Kitzbühel 2019, 1st prize at the International Rheinberger Competition Vaduz, and 2nd prize at the International Bach Competition Wiesbaden 2020.

begon zijn muzikale opleiding in 2002 aan het Musikum Hallein en studeerde met onderscheiding af in de vakken blokfluit, orgel en piano. In die tijd behaalde hij meerdere prijzen bij het nationale muziekconcours ´prima la musica´. Sinds 2011 is hij werkzaam als kerkorganist in de omgeving van Hallein. In 2015 is hij orgel gaan studeren aan de Universität Mozarteum Salzburg bij Hannfried Lucke. Daarnaast studeert hij sinds 2016 instrumentale pedagogie piano bij Christoph Declara. In 2020 rondde hij zijn beide bachelors af en sindsdien studeert hij verder in de masteropleiding. Hij volgde masterclasses bij onder andere Martin Schmeding, Jaroslav T?ma en Matthias Maierhofer. In 2017 is hij onderscheiden met de sponsorprijs van de Internationale Zomeracademie van de Mozarteum Universiteit. Bij internationale orgelconcoursen ontving hij de 1e prijs en de publieksprijs op het Internationale Maria Hofer Concours Kitzbühel 2019, de 1e prijs op het Internationale Rheinberger Concours Vaduz, en de 2e prijs op het Internationale Bach Concours Wiesbaden 2020.
