Vittorio Vanini (Italië 1996)

born in 1996 in Milan, entered the Conservatorio of Como (I) in 2011, where he studied first with L. Bassetto, then with E. Viccardi. In 2017 he completes a Bachelor?s degree in Organ with honour. During his studies he focused, besides on organ literature, on Harpsichord and Thorough-Bass with D. Pozzi and on Composition with A. E. Negri and C. Calderoni.
He is studying since 2018 at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (CH), in the class of Tobias Lindner. He has been working as a church organist in the parishes of Lurago Marinone and Cucciago (I), and he has given concerts in Italy, Germany and Switzerland; furthermore, some of his compositions have been played in concerts. He attended masterclasses about Organ Repertoire held by J.C. Zehnder, M. Radulescu, E. Viccardi, L. Lohmann, A. Liebig, S. Molardi, M. Ballico, W. Zerer, L. Ghielmi, P. van Dijk e T. Lindner, about Improvisation held by S. Rattini, about Harpsichord held by F. Corti and about Composition held by I. Fedele.
In 2018 he gains the Second Prize (First Prize not being assigned) at the ?Rino Benedet? competition in Bibione (I), as well as the third prize ex-aequo at the ?Organi storici nel basso Friuli? competition in Muzzana del Turgnano (I). In 2017 he took part, both as continuo-player at the organ and both as artistic director, to a live recording of Lombard Baroque music (F. S. Rusca and I. Donati), published by Halidon in November `17.
